What can I expect?
Expect a warm welcome! Your presence will be noticed. We consider having guests and seeing new faces to be a precious gift, so most of our people will make it a point to say hello. There is a Greeter in the lobby, ready to hand you a bulletin and connect card. They will do their best to answer any questions you have about our church and worship service.

Tell me about your worship service?
Our worship follows the same general pattern from one week to the next. The Pastor, staff and volunteers are intentional about all elements of our worship invites God’s Holy Spirit be present so we may connect and grow in our relationship with God and one another.

How do you make room for my kids?
We encourage families with children of all ages to sit together during worship. While recognizing that being still is something we all learn, the church provides small “Family” tables to help channel your children’s focus and energy.
The Pastor encourages “young ones” to provide a “Picture for the Pastor” with the pages and crayons provided. If, however, you need to a more secluded setting, we provide a nursery space that you are free to use.

How do I Connect with the church?
The people of Lakeview church will invite you to any and all activities of the church. But we respect when and how you wish to connect with us.
When you are ready, the best way to connect is by filling out a Connect Card.
Everything, that is written on a Connect Card, is noticed by the Pastor. Questions, concerns, prayer requests, the need for some one-on-one time with the Pastor, the Connect Card is the best way to do it.

Are there places where I can serve?
Lakeview is a small congregation, so of course there are ways in which you can plug-in and serve. Some immediate examples are:
Praise Team: either in providing musical talent or learning the sound and slide systems.
Greeter: Being the first to say “Hello”
Coffee Hour: to provide a simple nosh.
Support a Ministry Team: Help those overseeing our current areas of Ministry
